A single-payer health care system is ultimately the only solution to this crisis. Though Obamacare is a brave attempt on the part of the Obama administration, it’s still a concession to the insurance industry and it won’t really solve the problem. Single-payer will. I applaud Vermont for having the civic resolve to move forward on this and I can only hope that NY will follow their lead.
