Universality of The Affordable Care Act

While the Affordable Care Act (ACA) increases the number of Americans with health insurance,  it does not guarantee that everyone will be covered. Prior to the Supreme Court decision to strike down the requirement that states expand Medicaid, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimated that 27 million people would remain uninsured by 2022 if the ACA were enacted. As a result of this decision, the CBO has revised that estimate to 30 million. A single payer system is a better way to cover everyone.
